Bondi Bohemian
Christmas and New Years are over for another year, and I’m finally getting back into the swing of things back in Aus. The weather has been beautiful (minus today!) and I’ve been enjoying the sunshine whilst getting my teeth stuck into a big project a work. Being back in Sydney means I get to shoot with my good friend Andrea again. Her street is tree lined and accommodates some gorgeous homes, so seemed a great spot to snap some street style for todays post!
My blog name change is going to play a big part in my style this year. Bohemian vibes on weekends, tailoring for work and the colder months. It seemed fitting to get back to my casual boho style now I’ve settled back in and gotten over some pretty bad jet lag! Off the shoulder is style a big hitter for me this season and especially when going for brunch or coffee. This dress is perfect for those kind of days. Loose fitting and basic. So basic that I chose to style with a felt fedora and super cute heart sunnies that I borrowed off Andrea (Secretly hoping she sells them to me at our market stall soon!). Late afternoon shooting seems to be the only option with the sun being so strong this time of year, which is good because it leaves the morning free to grab a coffee or hit up a new breakfast place that I’ve yet to dine at.
To everyone in colder climates…..I promise this summery post is not to make you jealous of the Sydney summer. It’s purely to cure your January blues and make you excited to book your summer holidays! Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Chelsea Grids
One of the cloudiest days since being back in the UK. Not used to shooting with such a thick layer of cloud and was explaining to London blogger Lorna Andews (Lornaluxe) that it’s the opposite in Sydney right now. Dodging the harsh morning sunshine to get detailed outfit shots without blinding sunshine making you squint. First world problems! I’ve been dying to meet Lorna for months and was thrilled to finally give her a big hug and talk fashion and local cafe spots with this little one! This street was a dream to shoot on and was minutes from Harrods and some of the more bustling sights that London has to offer.
Today’s look focuses heavily on grids. Boohoo is my go to shop for affordable fashion, and since being in Australia I seek Northern Hemisphere trends to try and mix it up a bit in Sydney. This time of year, the weather between Australia and the UK couldn’t be more contrasting, so a lot of the stores are not yet carrying their winter lines just yet. This suit was perfect. Layering: check, monochrome: check, tailored: check. My go to things for the colder months. I thought I was going to be way too cold to rock a crop top in December, but with the suit jacket and long vest it was the perfect ensemble.
That’s the last of my 4 part European series of looks :-( I have met 4 amazing bloggers on my travels and you will see all of them on Boho Behind The Lens. Part of the fun was photographing them in their threads and experiencing fun new locations and of course, making friends along the way. I’m planning some cool looks over the next few weeks with my partner in crime Andrea from Leather and Lattes blog. Can’t wait to show you what we get up to over the summer months! It’s going to be a good month I can feel it!
